THINKING OF COMING BACK

Thinking of coming back.

It's been almost two years since I posted. In that time I have...

...become a father...

...made some decent inroads into a career...

...had a first hand experience with some of the nastiest people I have ever encountered and you know what...they were conservative Evangelicals...

...lost some friends whom I previously held dear...

...made some new ones...

...realized that someone I admired was only human...

...further realized that culture drives politics...not the other way around.

Ha ha, evangelicals, I know what you mean. I was raised a catholic, left that, but consider myself a committed christian. I just wanna bitch slap these people sometimes for being unnerving. (real conservative)

It actually gave me no joy to write that. But I have to be honest with my experiences.

You may find that not too many people on either side of the political spectrum give a crap about your personal life. Go to twitter or facebook you might have better luck there.

Rob C,

...and yet you cared enough to leave a comment.

I am touched.

uber.lberal,

Ban religion? Y'mean like in a communist country. We all know how that turned out. More people have been butchered, starved, slaughtered, oppressed and had thier lives made miserable by atheist Marxist regimes in the 20th century than all religions combined in 2000 years. Not exactly a great model.

I believe you may have it partially correct. "Touched"
I am glad no Christians or muslims have done any of that butchering, starving, slaughtering, oppressing and making life miserably for people in the last couple of thousand years.

But you don't like Chrsitians! Why should we put up with them. They are a problem and must be stopped!!

We don't need to ban anything thanks. Thats the leftard way. We need to ban less. As an Atheist I'm more worried about being forced to believe something than caring much about what others believe.

Be careful with banning everything. Pretty soon you'll find yourself banned.

Spin Assassin... That about covers my thoughts. I could give a damn what people want to believe just leave me out of it.I am quite capable of choosing my own way through life. It is hard for lefty socialist types (or radicals of any breed) to get their heads around the fact they don't always know what is best for the rest of the world.
