SHOCK: LIBERALS COULD NOT RID CHILD POVERTY
Child poverty is not a joke. But the notion that a Liberal government could pass a resolution to end it is."Almost a decade after the deadline by which the House of Commons was unanimously resolved to eliminate child poverty, Statistics Canada says there are still almost 900,000 children living in the poorest of homes. Perhaps we can also pass legislation to end murder and stife. Perhaps another House of Commons resolution could be called upon to eliminate really bad hair days and stubbing your toe. Then we can pass another legislation whereby we can all be born with pots o' gold under our cribs and rain will turn to beer on days of important sporting events.
I am constantly amazed at how upside down most progressives see the world.

When I started to work on an invention for the issue of Child Obesity I used the Stat-Can number to find all the Obese Kids , I found that the U.N. re-defined a Child to be anyone under 19 years of age.
So this begs the question for the NDP , how can you claim we have Obese Kids living in Poverty .
Which one is it?
Save the Children have a Mother's Day report every year.
The one this month will be the first report since the Conservatives took over (stats will be for 2006/07)
If it looks good for PMSH,
we will have to dig around to find it.
If Canada has dropped in standing, it will be all over the media.
